Well, the pile of socks grows ever larger, with all that sledging the elves seem to have soaked more pairs than ever,
Father Christmas tells me that he has had some lovely letters from you, don’t worry if you’ve not sent yours yet, the Kielder post is getting through despite all the snow.
Today I must remember to moisten the pudding with an extra tot of Christmas cheer, and then gather some chestnuts and wild mushrooms for the chestnut stuffing, keeps very well if left out in the frozen snow and its buddleia’s favourite. The tree’s have really needed their cosie’s this week as its been extra cold, check your trees are wrapped up warm,
never all this chatting I best get on, see you all soon

Only 15 more washing days before Christmas!

Hello Mrs Christmas. I met Father Christmas at school today as well as last week at Kielder Winter Wonderland. I wonder, is it not too cold in the woods? Could you wash my socks too please, as my mum hasn’t got around to doing it?
Love from Holli (age 6).
Well now Holli you are a lucky little thing, 3 visits from the main man himself this Christmas!
Don’t worry about the cold, it is always toasty and warm in my kitchen.
I hope the message got through to your mum and the socks are all sorted now for a new year?
