Only 7 more washing days to go, and I still have to stock the Xmas Larder, see to the animals, help father christmas choose that special something for our little people, give the kitchen a once over, and most importantly catch up with all our visitors over the coming week, Phew, better make another list, ta ta for now, xxx mrs c

Only 15 more washing days before Christmas!

December 8th, 2010 by Mary Christmas

Well, the pile of socks grows ever larger, with all that sledging the elves seem to have soaked more pairs than ever,
Father Christmas tells me that he has had some lovely letters from you, don’t worry if you’ve not sent yours yet, the Kielder post is getting through despite all the snow.
Today I must remember to moisten the pudding with an extra tot of Christmas cheer, and then gather some chestnuts and wild mushrooms for the chestnut stuffing, keeps very well if left out in the frozen snow and its buddleia’s favourite. The tree’s have really needed their cosie’s this week as its been extra cold, check your trees are wrapped up warm,
never all this chatting I best get on, see you all soon

Snow, Snow, Snow

November 29th, 2010 by Mary Christmas

Well what a to do, it seems that there were so many wishes for snow this weekend, that when they all came true, every thing came to a standstill. The elves stopped working and went out sledging, Father Christmas and I made sure all the birds, squirrels, rabbits and reindeer were safe and well fed and then sat by the fire with some of my mince pies and told each other stories of Christmas ‘s past until the light faded and it was time for bed. xx Mrs C

Mrs Christmas – Stir up Sunday

November 24th, 2010 by Mary Christmas

Now, Stir up Sunday is past, but don’t worry for those of you who spent it in my Kitchen, sorting out Boris’ odd socks. There’s still time to get those puddings in their basins, and don’t forget, stir up your mix tree times digitally, to make your Christmas wish come true……

Well I’d best be off, too much to do, only 31 washing days left till Christmas. Here’s a kiss for you all, now what do you think of that?
